We are an infrastructure and technology firm committed to building the foundational systems the Democratic Republic of Congo needs to grow — from the ground up, on Congolese terms.
Nurturing potential and building for the future — in our projects, our partnerships, and our people. Growth that is rooted, sustainable, and shared.
Working together for lasting impact. We do not build for the DRC — we build with the DRC. Every MOU, every agreement, every project is a partnership.
Uplifting women and strengthening communities. Our sister organization, Universal Palm Tree Women Organization, ensures that women are at the center of everything we build.
Rooted in the Congo. Committed to its people. We are not a parachuted-in foreign operator — we are a US-incorporated firm whose DRC programs are executed through UPTWB SAS, a Congolese OHADA entity operating on Congolese soil, employing Congolese teams, and accountable to the institutions that authorize it.
Palm Leaf Partners and Universal Palm Tree Women Organization share the same roots — and the same purpose. While Palm Leaf Partners builds the physical and digital infrastructure of the DRC, Universal Palm Tree Women Organization ensures that women are not just beneficiaries of that infrastructure, but builders, leaders, and owners of it.
The two organizations operate as a brand family — Shared Roots. Shared Purpose. Infrastructure without empowerment is incomplete. Empowerment without infrastructure is unsustainable. Together, they form a complete vision for the DRC's future.
Entities at a glance. The "UPTW" family includes three distinct entities: Universal Palm Tree Women Organization (UPTW), a women-empowerment community organization; UPTWB SAS, a DRC-registered Société par Actions Simplifiée under OHADA law that conducts in-country operations; and UPTW USA, LLC, a US-registered entity that directs Palm Leaf Partners LLC and receives strategic direction from UPTWB SAS. Each entity is legally separate and accountable under its own governing law.
